This Privacy Policy explains how DropMerge, developed by teto LLC (operating under the teto.tokyo name, "we"), handles your information. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our practices.
Information We Collect
Game Data (Stored Locally)
Scores, best records, max tile reached, gameplay statistics, custom rule settings, and seed-replay history are stored only in UserDefaults on your device. No game data is transmitted to any teto.tokyo server. The app does not operate a game backend.
Information Collected by Third Parties (Ads)
The app uses Google AdMob to serve ads. The Google Mobile Ads SDK and Google AdMob may collect the following information for ad delivery, personalization, and effectiveness measurement:
- Advertising identifier (IDFA) — only when permitted via App Tracking Transparency
- Coarse location (country / region inferred from IP address)
- Device type, OS version, app identifier, language settings
- Ad interactions (impressions, taps, rewarded-ad completion)
This information is not stored on our servers; it is handled by Google according to its own privacy policy. See Google's Privacy Policy for details.
App Tracking Transparency (ATT)
On iOS 14.5 and later, on first launch the app shows a tracking-permission dialog covering "ad personalization and ad-performance measurement." You can use the app whether or not you grant permission. If you decline, no IDFA is collected and only non-personalized ads are served. You can change your decision at any time in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
For Users in the EU / UK (GDPR)
For users in the EEA / UK, on first launch the app uses Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) to request consent for data processing. The consent form and the available cookie / SDK choices are provided by Google. If you decline, only non-personalized ads will be served.
Information We Do Not Collect
We do not collect any of the following:
- Personally identifiable information (name, address, phone, email, etc.)
- Precise location (GPS)
- Contacts, photo library, camera, microphone
- Our own analytics or tracking
- Social media account links
Third-Party Services
- Google AdMob (Google Mobile Ads SDK): ad delivery. Google Privacy Policy
- Google User Messaging Platform (UMP): GDPR consent management for EEA / UK users.
- Apple App Store: app distribution. We do not receive any individual user's personal data from Apple.
SKAdNetwork
Per Apple's privacy design, AdMob uses SKAdNetwork for privacy-preserving conversion measurement. SKAdNetwork does not pass device-level identifiers to advertisers; only aggregated values are returned within Apple's framework.
Children's Privacy
This app is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal data, please contact us.
Data Deletion
Deleting the app removes all locally stored game data from your device. For ad-related data retained on Google's side, you can disable tracking for this app in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking, or submit a deletion request from Google's Ad Settings.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date.
