Terms of Service — Auto Alarms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Auto Alarms ("the App"), developed and published by teto.tokyo ("the Developer"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms.
1. Service Description
Auto Alarms is an iOS application that reads calendar events from supported services (iCloud Calendar, Microsoft Outlook, Google Calendar) and delivers local notification alarms for upcoming meetings. The App operates entirely on your device with no external server infrastructure.
2. License
The App is licensed, not sold, to you for personal, non-commercial use on Apple devices you own or control, subject to the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.
3. Calendar Data Access
The App requires read-only access to your calendar events to function. By connecting a calendar service, you authorize the App to read your event data. The App does not modify, delete, or share your calendar data. All data remains on your device.
4. Third-Party Services
The App integrates with third-party services (Apple EventKit, Microsoft Graph API, Google Calendar API) for calendar access. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies. The Developer is not responsible for service disruptions or changes by these providers.
5. Notifications
The App uses iOS local notifications and AlarmKit to deliver meeting alarms. Due to iOS system limitations, notification delivery cannot be guaranteed in all circumstances. The Developer is not liable for missed or delayed notifications.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, business opportunities, or missed meetings, arising from your use of the App.
8. Purchases and Refunds
Auto Alarms is a paid app available on the App Store. All purchases are processed through Apple and are subject to Apple's refund policies.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any disputes shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court.
