Supported OS Versions

We support the current latest iOS version and up to two previous major versions. As of February 2026, this means iOS 16 and later.

When a new major iOS version is released, the oldest supported version may be dropped.

Even after a version falls out of the support window, the app will remain available for download on the App Store. We simply do not guarantee functionality or provide technical support for unsupported OS versions.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I back up my data?

From Settings > Data > Export Data, you can export as CSV or JSON. The JSON export is the full backup format (snapshot of categories, counters, executions, and history). Use Import Data to restore from the same file.

How does team sync (real-time multi-person counting) work?

Open the menu in the top-right of the home screen and tap Team Sync. You can create a new session to generate a code, or join an existing session by entering a code shared by your teammate. Taps within the same session are batched every 200 ms and synchronized in real time via WebSocket. Offline taps are queued and replayed automatically on reconnect.

How do I restore a purchase?

The TetoCounter app itself is a paid download from the App Store. Re-downloading from the App Store on the same Apple ID does not cost again. Team Sync credits are consumable in-app purchases and are automatically reflected on purchase.

The app is not working on my older iOS version.

We support the latest iOS and two previous major versions. If your device cannot update to a supported version, the app may not function correctly.

Pricing

The TetoCounter app is offered as a paid App Store download (regular ¥450, launch promo ¥300 for 2 weeks). There are no subscriptions or additional unlock in-app purchases.

The optional team sync feature uses hourly credits (consumable in-app purchase) that can be purchased from within the app. Volume discounts apply when buying multiple hours at once (up to 66% off).

All purchases are processed through Apple's App Store and are subject to Apple's refund policies.
